John Lewis National Day of Commemoration and Action: The Promise of the VRA for New Jersey

July 17, 2024, marks the fourth anniversary of the death of the late Congressman John Lewis. On that day, advocate leaders from the League of Women Voters of NJ, New Jersey Institute for Social Justice, ACLU of NJ, NAACP Legal Defense Fund and Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund will come together to commemorate his death, his life's work to secure voting rights for all people, and the importance of passing the New Jersey Voter Empowerment Act.
