This year, we’re taking our annual awards celebration online. Join us for the ACLU of New Jersey’s first virtual celebration on Constitution Day, September 17, 2021 at 4 p.m.
“We the People: Daring to Create a More Perfect NJ” will honor some of New Jersey’s most effective advocates and feature appearances from celebrity guests, while reflecting on the historic work of the last year and advocacy ahead to build on our progress.
At this special event, the ACLU-NJ will honor board member Frank Corrado, who has partnered with the ACLU-NJ more than any other private attorney in the organization's history, and New Jersey Prison Justice Watch, an organization led by formerly incarcerated people who led the fight alongside ACLU-NJ to severely restrict solitary confinement in New Jersey and to enact the Public Health Emergency Credit, which led to the release of thousands of incarcerated people imperiled by COVID-19. This fundraising event will be hosted online to ensure that you can join us no matter where you are.
